    NaturEssences are made from various flowers of Mauritius, all of them island-grown in their specific and protected environment, some of them endemic and rare. Along with our product range, we offer balancing bodywork and informative seminars in Mauritius and abroad.
    
    This Swiss-born flower essence therapist Birgitta Gerda Holenstein with background in Aura Soma colour therapy, Pranic Healing and Tarot lives amidst the rolling green sugar cane fields in the northern part of Mauritius with her family and many animal friends. She produces and promotes her CORESSENCES in collaboration with local healers and therapists and has co-developed the NaturEssence range. Besides preparing her essences or showing tour-groups the beauty of the island, she is constantly expanding her garden and trying out inspired recipes from the fruits and plants growing around her.
    With her work, Birgitta would like to bridge the gap which separates us, in our minds, from nature, the sacred source of life. Right now she is planning on a series of workshops and seminars for therapists and spa personnel in Mauritius and Europe.
    
    Vikash Chitrasen Ramsurn was born in a small village in the East of Mauritius, this multilingual island-dweller has been enamored with the abundance of spiritual energies and therapies in India as well as on his native island. At an early age, Vikash took to studying Yoga, meditation and the techniques of various masters. After being trained under the tutelage of doctors from India in ayurvedic healing therapies and techniques, he worked for the Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved Hospital at Calebasses for several years. Then he decided to start out as a freelancer and developed his „Ayurveda Fusion Massage“; a combination of ancient ayurvedic techniques incorporating elementes of Reiki and Pranic Healing and integrating Vikash’s profound knowledge of acupressure and anatomy. Rather than just a massage, this is a very active type of treatment and Vikash hence looks at himself as a „bodyworker“.

    Aum Himalaya Sanjeevini Essences Private Limited is the company that brings the very pure spiritual healing energies in the form of Sanjeevini essences or remedies from the Himalaya mountain range. These are subtle energy remedies where the source of energies are Flowers, gems and mountain & forest Herbs. These remedies are non-material, which means there is no material substance in them.
    
    They have the energetic information in them stored in pure spring water / Ganges waters, with brandy/vinegar/glycerin as a preservative. These remedies are taken in the mouth or applied locally on the body provided there is no allergy to the preservative. Since there is no chemical substance apart from the water and the preservative, the remedy is not identified under the category of any system of medicines, like Allopathic, Ayurverdic /Herbal, Homeopathic or Unani.   • Christchurch Flower Essences

    Christchurch Flower Essences are made in Christchurch, New Zealand by The Light House®. They reflect the new wave of energy, and resonate with Christ energy, as well as opening up to receive light from our Guides, the Masters and the Great Ones. The plant kingdom is assisting. Christchurch, New Zealand is a remarkable city with many natural and man-made attributes, and one where there is much care and tending of plants and gardens. Christchurch Flower Essences have been designed to capture the healing properties of the flowers and gardens of Christchurch, also called „The Garden City“ and „The City that Shines“. They are not just for use in Christchurch or New Zealand, and when Dr Wendy Rose Isbell was producing them she was very much aware of their future use throughout New Zealand and around the world.
    
    For collection, few prime flowers are chosen, and then left in the sun, in a bowl of spring water for some hours. The water is then decanted and used as the basis of the remedy, which is stored in an alcohol solution, and then diluted into Stock Bottles. This is then dispensed into Personal Dose Bottles for individual use. Careful attention is paid to all details of collection, processing and presentation. The Christchurch Flower Essences are available in a variety of forms. „Flowers“ are Stock Bottles that are available as practioners‘ Kits. „Essences“ are Personal Dose Bottles that can be dispensed from Spring Flowers, Summer Flowers or Blended Flowers.

    Flower Essences The Netherlands is a company, lead by Miep and Bram Zaalberg. One of the goals is the distribution and production of flower essences of high quality. Another very important task is to provide information and give workshops about healing and flower essences. Since 1992 we have our own classroom for the workshops and a garden in which we try to cooperate with the Deva's (the essential energies of the plant) as much as possible. Since 1986 we started to make flower essences ourselves. The first years, we only used them in our practice and for ourselves. Because of the growing demand we started to distribute these essences for a larger public in 1990. The essences have a great purity and are very powerful in their effect. The preservation is also kept as pure as possible and is done with organic brandy.

  • Findhorn Flower Essences

    Findhorn Flower Essences is directed by Marion Leigh and is located in the North East of Scotland within the world renowned spiritual community of Findhorn. Many of the flowers used in preparing the essences are growing here in the heart of the community.   • Living Tree Orchid Essences

    The essences have been carefully co-created in their initial years (starting in 1998) at our earlier base The Living Tree in the Milland valley in West Sussex. Their home is now on the Isle of Gigha in Scotland, which is also where the bottling and distribution is carried out. Made with orchids grown in greenhouses, and using a non-cutting method for the essence making, these essences depart from some aspects of traditional essence making.

    Once one encounters the profound beauty and depth of being found in these orchids, a non-cutting approach feels compelling. And the fact that the orchids are in an artificial environment may seem at first impression rather odd; but one may also see that these plants are volunteering to work directly with us, and have entered into interaction with us very consciously.

    Birth Preparation
    Since the early 1990’s we have been researching the most effective use of flower essences during pregnancy and childbirth. The research project involved more than 100 midwives, who did most of the work.  Although we appreciate all the help and efforts of modern medicine in this field, we are also convinced that the vibrational assistance of flower essences can help to decrease the use of medications, which sometimes have damaging side effects, and can cause unneeded surgery. What we want is to help pregnant women to get in touch with their own needs and follow their own instincts. Our own position is that of helpers who support them in this process.
    
    Archetypes
    We have been looking for plants representing the archetypes of the unconscious according to the discoveries of the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung. Some of these archetypal plants have already been included into our birthing set because Jung's main archetypes, the anima and animus (Granatapfel/Pomegranate; Sonnenblume/Sunflower), play the most important role with the relationships of women and men, and of course in the bearing and raising of children.
    
    Trancework
    This relates to our shamanic background. Trance opens people to the vibration of flower essences and you can use it for example, to heal the past when you help the client to go back and heal the trauma at the very moment it happened. This shortens the period of necessary use of flower essences. Trance makes people more sensitive and helps them to feel themselves far better than before. We use several techniques with flower essences and dancing is one of the most important.

        Flower Essences for the Chakras

        The Chakras belong to the basics in indian medicine. They serve as energy centers in the human body. Western medicine has not yet found evidence they exist at all, so science denies the existence of the Chakras, however once science denied x-rays, too. If we accept the idea of energy centers without scientific approval, we find new ways of healing using our flower essences.
        
        There are 7 Chakras in the body. While some authors mention a couple more we  focus on the major seven. You may see a Chakra as a kind of funnel, that collects energy from the surroundings. If such a funnel should be closed, a lack of energy would be the result and this may cause negative effects on our body, soul and emotions. Every Chakra has its own definition and functions. Their knowledge can be very helpful in diagnosis and treatment. The lack of energy in a special Chakra creates related symptoms, so we can find which Chakra may be blocked just by observing the symptoms. If we however check the Chakras e.g. by muscle testing we can also foresee which symptoms may appear in the future unless we treat the Chakra.

        
        
        All the Chakras are aligned to the central axis in the body, our spine –  with one exeption, the Crown Chakra, which is located on top of the head. The first one, our Basis Chakra absorbes the energy from the Earth, the last one, the already mentioned Crown Chakra is for letting in the energy from the sky (or you may also say the universe), all the others opene to our front side.

    Jotunheimen - „the home of the giants“ - and Jotunheimen National Park, is the epitome of Norwegian mountain country with its high peaks and mountain communities in the valleys. Here, 400 million years ago the Jotundekket, a mountainous layer, folded over the existing layers of sand and slate.
    
    In March of 1999 a meditative walk through awakening spring gardens seemed to be suggesting to me that I could walk again in Jotunheimen, among the mountains, this time for the purpose of collecting a new series of essences of the type generally called „environmental essences.“ These are essences which are received from the natural world directly into a prepared bowl of water in a harmonious, cooperative and co-creative spirit, at a particular place and time. Often these are made by identifying specific elemental qualities in the environment, and asking with love and blessings that these qualities be received by the water, which the water is naturally happy to do, as that is its essential nature.
    
    In one sense we are not „making“ these essences, we are receiving them already complete, into a human grail cup or chalice. It seems that the simplicity of the attunement and reception is the direct result of the manifestation of our inner observer, Godself, Zero Point, wormhole, or pineal activation -- one can choose the terms that resonate with one‘s current understanding(s). The simple process of surrender, dedication, request and reception seemed to unlock and open the door. One of the first and most clear messages I received was this:
    
    „Here, every stream is a remedy; every stream is an essence.“

    1990 we created our first environmental essences from the water of a shamanic healing well. The second one was prepared with the help of a thunderstorm the same year. Now we have a little range of these unique essences, which cannot be reproduced, since the environment, weather, circumstances are always unique, there is only one chance to make them.
